The Happy Hour Guide: The Three Cheapest Hours to Buy Weed in Pacoima

DealsGuidesPacoima

Most dispensaries in the Valley unlock somewhere between 8 and 10. We open at 7. That's not a flex about work ethic — it's the first of three windows where the whole store drops 15%.

Pacoima works early. Trades, warehouses, shifts that start before the sun is properly up. If the only time you can shop is before work, a store that opens at 9 is a store you never go to. So we open early. Then we do it twice more.

What happy hour actually is

Three windows, every single day:

  • 7–9 AM — the before-work run
  • 2–4 PM — the afternoon lull
  • 7–9 PM — the after-dinner stop

In all three, the entire store is 15% off. Not a category. Not a brand day. Flower, pre-rolls, carts, edibles, concentrates, drinks, topicals — the whole room.

Six hours a day, seven days a week. No card and no code. You walk in, you buy, the register takes the 15% off. That's the deal in its entirety.

Who each window is for

7–9 AM — the before-work crowd. This is the one the shop was built around. If you're on the road by 7:30, stop in, get what you need, still make it. You pay less than the people who come at 6 PM.

2–4 PM — the quiet one. The store is genuinely empty mid-afternoon. Cases are fully faced, nothing's picked over, and you can ask a budtender a real question. Nobody is waiting behind you. If shopping stresses you out, this is your window.

7–9 PM — the classic. After dinner, before close. Busier than the other two, but it's the one most people can actually make.

Buying something expensive? Time it.

Fifteen percent is worth the most dollars where prices are highest. On a $60 eighth that's $9 at the shelf.

It's a little more than that in your pocket, too. California calculates discounts before the tax stack, so a smaller subtotal shrinks the tax with it. If you're finally buying the good jar or a gram of live rosin, buy it in a window.

What stacks, and what doesn't

The honest version, because this is where most shops get vague:

  • Happy hour earns points. Your discounted total still earns 1 Nature's Point per dollar you actually pay. A $40 basket rings up at $34 and earns 34 points. Points are calculated on the real number, not a flattering one.
  • Deals don't combine with each other. Happy hour, the 35%-off second item, the first-visit discount — you get whichever is better, automatically, at the register. They don't add up into one bigger number. Nobody has to do coupon math.
  • It applies to the whole store. There's no excluded-brands list hiding in the fine print. If it's on the shelf, it's 15% off inside a window.

The catch, such as it is

Each window is two hours. Miss one and the next is a few hours out. That's the catch.

There's no minimum purchase, no membership requirement, no sign-up. Bring a valid government photo ID showing you're 21 or older — or 18+ with a physician's recommendation. Bring cash, because we're a cash-only shop. There's an ATM inside if you forget, which everyone does at least once.

One practical note

If you're new to cannabis and reading this as buying advice: the discount is a good reason to shop at 7 AM, not a good reason to consume at 7 AM. Those are different decisions. Buy when it's cheaper and calmer; use it whenever suits your day. Our dosing guide is the more useful read on that second question.
